Group of Chinese Objects

Comprising: A Liao dynasty green, yellow and aubergine glazed dish incised with a waterfowl swimming amid loosely drawn lotus within a foliate border; a cinnabar lacquer style shallow bowl, carved in relief with stylized scrolling dragons, auspicious symbols, and lotus on dense leafy vines, the reverse with a spurious seal mark; a carved wood seated meditative figure with traces of paint, dressed in a long robe with a peaked cap, the reverse with an open aperture with a written prayer pushed into the body of the piece; a wood door panel, one side carved in relief with a phoenix and dragon amid scrolling clouds, the reverse with four incised characters reading “ auspicious gift of dragon and phoenix”; together with a Japanese lacquer bowl, the exterior with mon and scrolling leafy vines, red interior

Liao dish with rim chip and small chips to underside of foot rim; Japanese lacquer dish with a few small chips to lacquer on foot rim and one chip below rim on exterior, interior red with wear and surface scratches; Chinese lacquer style dish with surface wear to foot base; figure with pigment loss, plug to backside aperture is missing, a few minor vertical age cracks to wood; door panel a few very minor small chips to outside edges, reverse with light surface scratches and with flecked staining
